This painting is 18 x 24
it looks 7836846367896346823648964238x better in person
but nontheless

find your own meaning.
it's open for interpretation

it's meant to be controversial
because it's meant to provoke thought

so think a little
see where it leads
[this painting changed my life]

It looks like the cover of frankenchrist.
I think I saw this done a while ago... by the designer of the Sex Pistols' first album (can't for the life of me remember his name... her name? Damn I forget).

IMHO, there should be a remote in his hand. That'd just be hilarious.

And I doubt anyone could find another meaning to this than the one you've already chosen. It's like trying to find a new meaning to a brick in the face.

Won't work, I'm not a machine.
Well. I feel like telling you my interpretation just to give you hard time. Kidding. I wanna talk about it.

I think the most common or assumed things are either people are starting to worship the media-or famous people- like they are Gods and overrating them.

The other common assumption can be that God is acually a creation by the media-and government for that matter to help people work. [As demontrated in Animal Farm, right? Hahaha.]

It'd be gret if I could know what you were thinking when making this.

I was basically thinking the same as your first suggestion. People view the media in such high status and watch television 'religiously'. Many base thier personalities on those in TV and learn their lessons from thier favorite sitcoms. Ect. ect...
The other concept I was thinking was that religion is commercialized. Religions battle with eachother to get more followers and collect more money for the leaders of the church. It's become an industry.

Ahh. Thanks for letting me know! This was an interesting picture and it was fun to think about. Thanks for submitting it.

I see it as a cry against commercialized religion.
